Boadu is known as Kwasi Boadu Ntiamoah in real life. He is a passionate researcher, writer and socialist. Boadu graduated in 2015 from the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) with Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering. In the field of geology, he worked as a geological consultant and engineer for Minerva Mining, F.A. Minerals, Modern KOSA Quarry, and West African Quarries Limited (subsidiary of GHACEM).
As a Pan-Africanist, he has been working for Youth for African Star NGO as the Environment and Biodiversity Director since 2017. He was part of the Executive Planning Committee for the first Ghanaian youth summit on the Africa Union Agenda 2063 which took place at Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Centre, Accra, Ghana. He was also part of the Executive Planning Committee and Communications Committee for the 2018 African Youth SDGs Summit which took place at Accra International Conference Centre, Accra, Ghana.
Boadu is a passionate writer and leader. At UMaT, he worked as the Public Relations Officer and Editor-in-Chief for Chamber of Mines Hall and was also the Secretary to the SRC Editorial Board during 2013/2014 administration. In living his socialist ideology, he worked for Technology in Ghana NGO (NGO which was into discovering technology prodigies and investing in them) as writer and managing editor during his days at UMaT. He was also part of the organisers for Brain Nest Club (UMaT campus NGO was into science and innovation advocacy).
Boadu is a globally recognized researcher. His researches are mostly in the field of environment and biodiversity sustainability, mining, agriculture, and global politics. Some of his researches are: “Finding Alternative Means Of Cultivating Tomato On A Land Tested Positive For Bacteria Wilt:Achieving The UN SDGs, April, 2018, Dunkwa-on-Offin, Ghana.”; and Unpublished BSc Dissertation supervised by Dr. Asare Asante Annor, “Assessment of Mercury Concentration in Offin River at the Areas of Artisanal Mining Activities at Dunkwa-on-Offin”, April, 2015, Dunkwa, Ghana.”.
Boadu during his third year at the university, worked as a biodiversity sustainability research consultant for the multinational company, HeidelbergCement Group, during the 2014 Quarry Life Award Global Competition judged by the Global Jury. The company needed an innovative yet cheap approach to restore biodiversity during their quarry sites reclamation. His innovative research and solution was: “The Use of Vermicompost from Organic Food Waste as a Potential Treatment for Topsoil in Restoring Biodiversity at Quarry Site Reclamation”, September, 2014, Beposo, Ghana.
Boadu believes that if society invest in educating a kin, the kin was not privileged to look down on the society but to help in the socioeconomic transformation of the society. He has numerous laurels for his leadership abilities, researches and great writing skills. Boadu is an African cultural enthusiast. He believes an ancient cultural practices such as Africa’s have codes of knowledge and wisdom imbedded in them. So it will be naïve on the part of modern Africans to totally abandon them. He believes that superimposing classical science on African cultural practices can reveal hidden ancient knowledge.
The hobbies of Boadu include writing, watching movies and hiking. Boadu is a visionary leader who believes a leader is someone who is willing to do whatever it takes to make the lives of his people better without accepting any alibi for failure – leadership is win or win for your people no matter what!
