Kofi Annan Is Dead: What If Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka Will Follow Suit? – AN OPEN LETTER!

Dear Comrades,

Kofi Annan is dead – very sad. What would you have done if you woke up today to read a trending story that Apostle Dr Ing Kwadwo Safo Kantanka has passed on just like Busumburu Kofi Annan? It is not far fetched that most of you will write lengthy and hypocritical tributes to mourn Kantanka on social media just as we are doing for Busumburu. I guess you have not thought about this? But it will surely happen one day. Do you know that August is the birth month of the  Ghanaian researcher, technologist and clergyman, Apostle Dr Dr Ing Kwadwo Safo – he doesn’t deserve a national celebration because He is not dead  yet? Sorry, I forgot, in this country (Ghana), we celebrate the dead and hardly appreciate living legends. The clock is ticking and his life is ebbing away. Comrades, I want us to be brutal honest with ourselves, what benefits have we mined from this super fine brain as Ghanaians or if  possibly Africans? Have we so soon forgotten that Africans must develop Africa just like what Marcus told us, “Africa for Africans…at home and

The day Kantanka will die, that will be the day BBC will name him, “The Greatest African Technologist Europeans Wished He was White”! This will be the day we will feel the gravity of what our ego, selfishness, greediness and ‘pull-him-down’ syndrome has caused us as a nation. It is amazing that this man has almost all the solutions to our numerous problems yet we have ignored him as a nation. Apart from his handful workers, what benefits
have we derived from him as people? Do you know that Israel is the largest exporter of vegetables globally, and Ghana can be the largest exporter of animal products if the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA) invest in his ‘Animal Fertility Infusion Research’? Do you also know that he is the only African who has the cure to Fall Army Worms? If MoFA invests in his pesticide research, it can astronomically increase the GDP of Ghana. What benefit is the farmer at Adansi Bodwesango getting from this man? What benefit is the labourer at Boa-Amponsem Senior High School getting from  this man?

Compatriots, What do you think is the reason why we are not investing in the researches of Kantanka as a nation? Owww! He often says he has supernatural powers which aids him in his researches – he sleeps and get solutions to problems. So he is a sorcerer and not a scientist! So I guess we have convincing argument if we ignore his researches. I must be frank with you, comrades, there is no inventor or great scientist who has walked this planet who was metaphyisically weak –  man is a metaphyical being encased in a biological space suit. I know you don’t believe me because an average African will only believe the words of his fellow if a Westerner endorses it. I will kindly invite Nikola Tesla (the unsung Architect of Modern World), the man who died with about 300 patents to clarify things for us. Dr. David L. Goodstein, Vice Provost and Professor of Physics at California Institute of Technology, calls Tesla one of the “Saints of Science” and equates him to Leonardo Da Vinci. “…Every night, (and sometimes during the day), when alone, I would start on my journeys — see new places, cities and countries; live there, meet people and make friendships and acquaintances and, however unbelievable, it is a fact that they were just as dear to me as those in actual life, and not a bit less intense in their manifestations,” Nikola Tesla. Is Tesla’s astral travels different from Kantanka’s astral travels? Tesla will circle a house thrice before he enters a room. Tesla was so weird that he never shook hands with people and he used doxen napkins to clean his face and even a plate. We are even lucky Kantanka shakes hands and uses just one napkin to clean his plates and face yet we are complaining. For the sake of space, I don’t want to talk about the ‘spiritual’ side of Leonardo Da Vinci, Benjamin Franklin, Sir Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein and many scientists. Nikola Tesla’s inventions are scientific just as Apostle Kwadwo Safo’s yet both are highly metaphysical beings.

Comrades, should we ignore Kantanka with the argument that he is a braggart? If yes, then, we just learn dates as history and not the lessons. Newton and many others were worse yet they were embraced because of their good works. I don’t want to talk about Tesla because Ghanaians will clearly stone him to death if he is to live among us today as a Ghanaian. Anyway, why do we forget that anyone who is locked in flesh is having some form of weaknesses? After all, we need the researches of Kantanka and not his morals. Who cares if he will brag, blaspheme, curse and still  give solutions to all our sophisticated problems? Is it bragging if one uses his achievements as a motivation to instill the ‘can do spirit’ in his compatriots? The problem with most Ghanaians is that we focus too much on trivialities and ignore the good in people! Also, we can’t use religion as an excuse because hunger, unemployment and racism doesn’t affect Ghanaian Christians and leave the Muslims – we are all in this mess together!

Comrades, if we don’t harness the full potentials of Kantanka to develop Ghana before He dies, generations unborn will never forgive us. It is unfortunate that Ghanaians only appreciate our people after they are given western endorsements. Do you think Busumburu Kofi Annan would have been appreciated if he was a local politician? Imagine Kantanka was born as a Russian, German, American or Chinese? For that, Ghanaians would have practically worshipped his works and our classrooms would have been echoing his name day in, day out. Unfortunately, he is a Ghanaian and our apathy towards his works show that we need BBC, Aljazeera, Mark Zuckerberg, Donald Trump, Jack Ma and many more to endorse his works before we invest in his researches as a nation. When comrades, when? When will we begin to act as people created in the image of God and not a calf?

Kindly let me conclude by borrowing the words of Thomas Sankara, “our revolution is not a public speaking tournament. Our revolution is not a battle of fine phrases. Our revolution is not simply for sprouting slogans that are no more used by manipulators trying to use them as catchwords, as codewords, as a foil for their own display. Our revolution is and should continue to be, the collective effort of our revolutionaries to transform  reality,to improve the concrete situation of the masses of the people.”

Still remains.
